“Tourism is big business in Washtenaw County, and this branding process will be a giant step forward for keeping visitors coming back to our spectacular county,” said Mary Kerr, president and CEO of the Washtenaw County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
A 2015 study by the Anderson Economic Group showed that about 6 million visitors travel to Ann Arbor each year and tourism supports 7,700 “full-time equivalent jobs” in Washtenaw County.
