Ms. Samyuktha Iyer is interning as an analyst at Anderson Economic Group, contributing insights from her background in economics, data analytics, and history. While at AEG, she has worked in both the market and industry analysis practice area and the public policy practice area, where she has helped conduct research on topics that include electric vehicles and housing affordability policy. Ms. Iyer previously performed research and analysis at Michigan State University in community sustainability and economic geography. She has also published research on behavioral economics and a short report on palliative care in Michigan. Ms. Iyer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and is completing her master’s degree in political science at the University of Chicago. She hopes to pursue a career in environmental economic policy.
