In 2004, Automation Alley retained Anderson Economic Group to complete the first annual technology industry report. This year marks publication of the 9th tech report as well as the 3rd annual benchmarking analysis, which ranks Auto Alley against other leading technologies centers in the US.
This report includes data from a variety of sources and benchmarks the metro Detroit region according to multiple areas of industry and job growth. The information analyzed and terminology used throughout the report are explained here, along with an overview of the purpose of the report and how it was developed.
