What would the loss be to the state if the University Reserqach Corridor (URC, including University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University) left Michigan? This paper begins to answer that question. It also benchmarks the URC’s economic contributions to the state in terms of jobs, earnings, economic development activities, and tax revenue.
