Mr. Roney is an economist specializing in the calculation of economic damages. His expertise includes quantitative and qualitative analyses and expert reports on tort cases involving intellectual property, commercial damages, personal injury, wrongful-death, and wrongful termination. He has developed forecasts, competitive analyses, and financial models for firms in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, retail, casino-gambling, insurance, and manufacturing.
Mr. Roney is the President of
Thomas Roney, LLC, a consulting firm with offices in Dallas and Houston, Texas. Prior to opening his own firm, Mr. Roney was a senior economist with The Center for Forensic Economics, and served as an in-house consultant at a national law firm.
Mr. Roney has completed the course work for a Doctorate in Economics from Washington State University. His fields of specialization included Labor Economics and Industrial Organization. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Cum Laude, from Washington State University, and is a member of the National Association of Forensic Economists and the American Economic Association.
